A brief history
The original Harvest Barn was built in 1873 by the Hoffman family and rebuilt in 1888 after a fire destroyed the first. The second barn was owned by Joseph Hoffman, the son of the family that built the original, and in the early 1900s, the north end was built on for added space. Joseph Hoffman passed the barn to his son, Theodore, who passed it to his son, John, who passed it to his son, Dennis, who passed it to his son, Roger. Roger Hoffman restored the barn to be used for events. Roger’s son Eric and his wife then purchased the barn and further restored it to be the beautiful venue that is today and now run the Harvest Barn together as a family.
